I have known Mr. Bob Bonnen for the past 13 years. Twenty years ago, I started the first camp in the world for special children that depend on technology to breathe. Thirteen years ago we added a day at the beach to our camp schedule of activities. We contacted Bob to help us entertain our campers and volunteers during the lunch at the beach. Since then, I have had the pleasure of his volunteer service year after year at our annual weeklong VACC Camp.

VACC Camp is free to campers and is made possible thanks to community support and volunteers of all ages. Bob’s invaluable help, dedication and active involvement have made possible the camp’s continuation and success. Bob responds to our request every year and accepts the responsibility of entertaining our group of campers and volunteers during our beach field trip. He always does an excellent job.

He is known as the “One Man Band” and he plays great music keeping everyone happy and enthusiastic at all times. Every year at our day at the beach, Bob helps create a warm, friendly atmosphere, facilitating socializing among campers, their families,our staff and the other volunteers.
